Clare Berry, Yoga Teacher
Words from Clare.........
For me, Yoga is a way of being - it is a simple yet powerful practice. It has become a life-long journey filled with wonder, learning and revelations. Daily practice allows me to connect with the best of myself, and I see my practice and life strengthen and grow as a result. Yoga has guided me through both the challenges and the joys encountered daily and has helped me to find a more conscious way of living. Physically it has improved my stamina, balance and flexibility.  It is now an essential part of my life that supports me in living my best life.

Clare is a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher having completed the Yoga Teacher Training RYT 200 Vinyasa Flow Yoga.  She works as a Nurse in Complementary Therapies with Specialist Palliative Care Services. She holds diplomas in Massage, Indian Head Massage, Aromatherapy and Reflexology. She is a Reiki Master-Teacher and a Certified Life-skills Consultant. She specialises in Cancer and Palliative Care. Clare brings years of experience to her teaching and is passionate about working holistically..... mind, body and spirit.
Clare is a member of the Complementary Therapists Association.

Practical Details

It is not necessary to have a regular yoga or meditation practice to attend this day.  All levels will be accommodated.

We will be using the workshop space at the Loughcrew Megalithic Centre. You are welcome to bring your own lunch, or there is a coffee shop on site. We will have an hour for lunch in the middle of the day.

If you have your own yoga mat or meditation cushion/stool please bring them along. Also bring a blanket for meditation.

The lovely cairns of Loughcrew are only a short walk from the centre so you may want to leave time to walk the hill before or after our sessions.

If you have any questions about the day please don't hesitate in contacting us.

Clare and Moya are friends for many years having met while studying for their Diplomas in Aromatherapy. They worked together as Nurses in Complementary Therapies in the Palliative Care Services. They both bring an understanding of energy, spirit and soul to their practice of meditation and yoga.

You can read more about Moya on the About Me page.

Winter is a time for hibernation, reflection and quiet inner-work....... a time to focus on self-care. In our busy lives, we seldom take time for ourselves and our own needs, goals and dreams. On this day we will focus on listening to our own hearts with compassion and love. We will explore how we can be more compassionate with ourselves in order to nourish and support our needs, allowing the seeds of our desires to be dreamed into being , ready to grow on the arrival of spring.
